History
In 1993, The Langsford Corporation, co-founded by Claudia Chervenak and Stephen McCrocklin, opened their doors in Louisville as "The Langsford Center". The driving force and passion behind the conception and opening was to help others (Read "Stephen's Story").
In 2001, based on client requests from Cincinnati, the Langsford Center in Cincinnati was opened.
In May of 2007, the Cincinnati based Langsford Center became an independent center.
In August of 2007, a joint marketing agreement was reached between The Langsford Corporation of Louisville and Learning Acceleration Centers of Cincinnati for the purpose of sharing best practices in our shared mission of developing life-long independent learners.
Today, under the joint marketing name, Langsford Learning Acceleration Centers, each center is independently owned working together to support the literacy needs of our communities.
