Thank you for your interest in our open instructor position. This is the perfect job for many people, but it is not for everyone. Our process of screening, training, and hiring is comprehensive. Here are the steps;
Step 1. Read "Instructors - Minimum Requirements". If after reading this document you would like for us to consider your resume, proceed to Step 2.
Step 2. Email your resume to Jobs@LangsfordCenter.com with an acknowledgment that you read and understand the Instructors - Minimum Requirements document. Also, list any questions your might have about our minimum requirements.
Step 3. Phone Interview. If your email and resume meet our needs, we will arrange a phone interview.
Step 4. In-Center Interview and Screening (30-45 minutes). Our in-center interview allows us to meet, discuss the position, our center, and answer your questions. Also during this time, we may require a 30 minute screening of your reading and comprehension skills.
Step 5. In-Center Interactive Session (1 hour). For those candidates who have presented and demonstrated the qualities we are seeking for instructors, we will invite in for our interactive session. During this session, candidates will work with our lead trainer, who will train and model a small component of what we do, and then give candidates the opportunity to experience our one-to-one session work using research based reading programs.
Step 6. Training Program. From our list of qualified In-Center Interactive candidates, we will choose those candidates, who best fit our needs, to join our Training Program which prepares candidates to be Langsford Center Instructors.
