From Our Clients
We have so much fun and passion for the work we do. Every day we are working to change the course of a child's life. Sometimes, we even get a "Thanks Again" note 5 years later.

I wanted to let you know about Juliana's progress. Her Stanford Assessment went from a 78th to a 95th percentile. Also, she is reading for pleasure. She bought 2 books and them both in a couple days! Reading is no longer a chore and she feels less intimidated by school reading. We are moving to Palo Alto, California, but I'd still be more than happy to act as a referral for Langsford. Elizabeth R.
May 21 - via email "The school psychologist, Vicki, just test M.'s reading fluency and he read 112 WPM with 0 errors. WOW! I don't know if I told you but he started the year with 66 WPM (words per minute) with many errors. He has made such progress! Just thought I would share the happy news!" Andrea M.

Hi,
I truly believe in what you all are doing with students and feel your program gets to the heart of the issues the children have. I will be happy to share with you the areas I see he needs help in. God bless you all. Barbara, 1st Grade School Teacher

"Thanks again for your contribution to my child's success story! At each grading period of my daughter's school career, my thoughts go to Langsford... She was able to achieve a 4.14 GPA this quarter in her Freshman year... For a child who wasn't really reading until 3rd grade, this is a success story! She is reaching her potential and it is a joy to watch!" Lynn J., Parent & Public School Educator

Langsford is the only place to which I will refer parents. I suspected Brian's needs are not something to be corrected at Langsford, but as always I had confidence that you would be able to give his mother some options. I also know the family will remember your time and concern and share information about Langsford with others. Sarah, Counselor

... There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about the great outcome (my son) has had from his time there. It has changed his life in so many ways. He is turning 17 Saturday and he is inviting about 11 kids over for a "Risk" tournament. Several new friends are on the list from school. It has helped him academically as well. He got all A's this quarter and is so confident now. ... Hope the word (about Langsford) continues to get out. Marilyn

"... in all other subjects [except math]...she is aceing everything... Taylor is getting 100's on most spelling tests, and A's on vocab tests. Her confidence is soaring!!"
"We do feel Langsford has been a true blessing in our lives for Taylor. You, Emily, are one of Taylor's favorites. She still talks about her experiences there."

“I love I love I love I love what you do at Langsford. Her confidence has really shot up. Her school experience the last three years had really brought her down and it’s taken your intervention to straighten that out. She knows you guys think she’s special. She feels like a little superstar. I've really seen a big improvement in her reading and she is pleased because the big chapter book that she was carrying around for the longest time to impress people, she’s finally truly reading! The most important thing for her is to know she can do things on her own. Shelly, daughter age 10
05/08/2008 "My son,..., went through the Langsford Center program 5 years ago when he was in second grade. I just wanted to share his success story with Steve and Claudia. My son not only qualified for the Duke Talent Identification Program in the category of "Critical Reading," but he took the SAT in the Fall and scored high enough in that category to qualify for State recognition. Qualification for State recognition requires a child to score in the top 30% of the talent pool.
Could you give me Steve and Claudia's email addresses so that I can share the story? I wanted to let them know what the end product has been 5 years down the road." Sara
02/19/2008 "The only place in town that does what you do!" Paula, daughter age 8, son 9.
"My son didn't need content tutoring, he needed to develop his reading skills. Thank You! Mary, son 10
"the programs make a life-altering difference...does not just address reading and language comprehension but overall (brain) functioning” - Ellen, son age 20
“In 3 months, she made more progress than she did in 3 years of self-contained classroom experiences.” - Leslie, daughter age 15
“At first I didn’t know how the Team approach would address his issues but over time it seemed they all were able to recognize different qualities and ways to move him along. Before we found Langsford, we felt really lost and didn’t know where to start… don’t know where we would be today if we didn’t find Langsford” - Peggy, son age 10
